Jessica is so amazing all the way around! She is so patient with staff, clients and patients. She explains everything well, from informing a client to mentoring a new technician. She never loses her cool, no matter how difficult and frustrating a situation can be. She understands her patient's fears and needs and soothes them with a gentle touch and creative individualized technique. She also takes every opportunity to advocate for her patients both to the doctors and to the clients. She is a true leader and an amazing technician!
We have many team players and strong work family vibes here at Four Seasons. No better advocate for this is Stacy, one of our licensed vet techs. She is a rockstar who hails from a background of ER work. She is the wing that tucks over all of our new hires and shows them the ropes. She is exceptionally thoughtful, and anticipates not only the doctor's every need, but our other support staff and patients too. From comforting scared senior pets, or first time puppies, new veterinary assistants to receptionists just trying to find their way. She's a repeat recipient of our monthly Wonder Woman award recognizing exceptional on the job performance but more than anything she is part of the heart and soul that is FSVS. We love Stacy!
Megan is paving the way for an unmatched experience for clients and staff at VCA Paw Prints. She immerses herself in helping make our hospital a better place every day. In the free time she has leftover, Megan fosters dogs and cats to help them find their forever home. Megan has such a positive outlook and gives 100% to our team. We appreciate her dedication and are so fortunate to know such an inspiring individual in vet med!
Leslie has been an amazing rock and teacher for so many "baby techs" and is the reason I feel I excelled in my technical skills. She is always willing to help not only do the job, get dirty, take amazing care of patients and then on top of it all helps those that don't understand cytology yet or need assistance placing that tricky IV. She is a team player and always jumps to the task at hand and is known for her compassion with her patients and always makes sure owners feel comfortable and confident in their pet's care and gives them time to talk about concerns and addresses them in the most polite manner. Leslie has formed a number of technicians into who they are today and that to me makes her a diamond in the rough. She has been a tech for an amazing 37 years. Not only is she a coworker but is a friend to us all and is just an all around great person.
Andres may be considered the clinics best-kept secret because many clients interact with him, not even realizing how important his role is in their pet’s care. We trust this talent. He is a brilliant and caring man who sets the tone for appointments and help us provide the best medical care and examinations. He’s always there to answer questions and help calm the pets. Between barking, claws, and squirming pets, Andres faces challenges every day. He never seems frustrated. In fact, it’s rare to find him not smiling and excited to be at work. Besides being a Vet tech, he is a family man, chef, and handyman. Each year he volunteers his time to play Santa Paws at our clinic at Christmas time. His positivity radiates and spreads joy through our practice and community.
Susan had an established career in veterinary medicine by the time she joined Chanticleer, which made her a valuable asset to our team. Her connection with animals and passion to help them has developed naturally into a successful career as a Veterinary Technician. Susan has experience working with all types of animals (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, pocket pets) and loves them all equally. She is our rockstar when it comes to taking excellent dental radiographs, handling our technician appointments with ease, and supporting staff wherever needed. We’re so lucky to have someone as passionate and helpful as Susan at our practice!

Our humane society shelter is an open door facility housing all pets brought in by county and city animal control officers and those relinquished by their owners. Our Veterinary Nurse Felica is a dynamo! She is responsible for the medical oversite of an average of 200 sheltered pets every day. She must coordinate and communicate with the volunteer veterinarian to keep all of these rescued pets up to date on vaccines, tests, preventions, wellness/health issues, and sterilization surgeries prior to adoption. She is also responsible for inventory of medications, vaccines, and medical supplies. She works hard to price shop everything to save this not for profit from spending money needlessly. She is also the manager of the shelter employees and oversees the day to day care and cleaning of over 100 dogs and nearly 100 cats. She works in her off time searching for funding opportunities, other recue groups to partner with to place pets in foster homes, searches for bargain items to enhance the shelter environment, all while working on her veterinary technician degree, and assisting her Mom at home. Her hard work and dedication to helping homeless pets is inspiring and admirable. Shelter work can be thankless in may ways, she truly deserves to recognized for her tireless efforts.
Sean is the doctor's right-hand man, he's there is assist the doctor in every situation, he's there to watch over the pets in every surgery that is done. He's the first person you see in the room and the last person to exit you out, but just the biggest smile you have ever seen. He takes his job very seriously and takes on every emotion that clients feel. He goes above and beyond with his job, and always wants to make sure each and every pet is taken care of in every situation. Sean just excels at this job and always wants to learn everything and wants to make sure he knows things, he asks questions if he doesn't know and doesn't step over the doctors toes. He's just an essential person here and makes everyday worth coming to work.
Kat not only works full-time as an experienced veterinary assistant/unlicensed technician, but volunteers as an ambassador for The Street Dog Coalition. She helps to organize bay area wellness clinics providing free veterinary care to pets of people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. She is passionate about helping animals and their people, particularly those who are in underserved communities.
Freda is a confident, competent and a calm team leader to all. She has trained most of our staff over the last 20 years. She is a Certified Technician who is awesome at guiding the staff and helping the veterinarians. She is Low Stress certified and handles all animals respectfully and calmly. She does everything from dental cleanings to the staff schedule. There isn't much Freda can't handle. Everyone knows they can rely on Freda to know what she is doing and to guide the rest of us. She really is a Vet Tech Hero!
Raea joined our team back in May of 2021, but before that she had already spent 7+ years working as a CVT. This field can be overwhelming and draining at times; a lot of technicians get weighed down by the physical and mental challenges that happen throughout each day. Looking at Raea, however, and you would have no idea. I have never worked with someone who manages to stay so positive while also remaining so passionate about her career and what she does. Raea truly radiates a love for this field and all animals that come across her path. Not to mention, she truly cares about her clinic family. We reached a point, like with everyone else, where we were very short-staffed. Raea came to me on her own free will and offered to fill any spots where we were short-staffed wherever she could without batting an eye. Raea also loves anything having to do with dentals and always makes sure to do such a precise and detailed job when cleaning teeth. During any recovery, she always makes it a point to stick by the animal's side until they are calm and feeling more themselves. Not to mention she is always so assuring and intelligent when answering any client questions. Every day is an inspirational story and act of kindness with her around. We truly consider ourselves very lucky to have her as a part of our team and think she is beyond deserving of this recognition!!
Kimberly is an outstanding vet technician! She has a sweet and loving personality and always gives us her all! She comes in on her day off, if we are short staffed. She even stepped up to help when our office manager was out for a long time, taking over her duties as well as being a full-time vet technician! She loves animals and is a dedicated mother and wife! We love her and she deserves some recognition!
Catherine has been a true rock star through Covid, but she was before all of this, too. She is dependable, creative, and calm under pressure. She is a key staff member in our success over the years. She is also a mom of a toddler, but she never complains and somehow she makes it look easy, but we know it isn't. She deserves to be recognized for the amazing woman and technician she is. We do not know what we would do without her.
Crista goes above and beyond with our patient care. She has a way with the clients and patients that makes her stand out in our practice. When we are short handed she is the first one to lend a helping hand. She is our Super Technician!!!
Shelbi works at Pulse Veterinary Specialists and Emergency as a Registered Veterinary Technologists in our Emergency department. Shelbi is trained to work in our intensive care unit for pets that are being hospitalized in critical condition. Shelbi goes above and beyond day and night to advocate for her patients while they recover in our hospital. Once a frantic pet owner came into the clinic as their dog was in respiratory distress, the receptionist immediately called a stat so the dog could be seen right away. At this time emergency was very busy and we did not have a gurney available to run this dog in. Now Shelbi is a power lifter in her spare time but she grabbed this dog who was over 150lbs and carried him back to the treatment room in true superwoman fashion. Even the owners were astonished by her strength and grateful their pet was able to see the veterinarian right away. Shelbi is an integral part of our emergency team and we couldn't run this hospital without her.
Roianne has been with Brookside since she was 15 years old, she's twice that now. Her passion and caring for our clients goes above and beyond! Brookside wouldn't be the same without her.
Alessandra will go above and beyond to help a pet in need, even on her days off. Being a vet tech for her is not a job but a passion. Alee is always there, not just only for patients but for their parents and her teammates. She is always looking out for others and striving to become a better nurse. I have personally seen her work with her patients and they are so lucky to have her as their nurse. Alessandra is truly one of a kind, I look up to her and admire her so much, she has grown to become an amazing nurse. I personally need to thank her for helping me when my dog ate something toxic, not only did she help my baby but she drove me herself to the ER so that we got there safely, I was so stressed that I couldn't even talk right and this is why I say she is one of a kind. Alee, here's to you and we appreciate you so much, thank you for what you do and thank you for working during these hard times. Not all heroes wear capes, some wear scrubs and amazing clogs.
Cady’s family had been previous clients at Chanticleer for years before she started working at the clinic. She didn’t have any experience with veterinary medicine, but knew that she wanted a career in the field. Cady’s devotion to animal welfare and education has led her to volunteer in zoos, wildlife rescues, and animal shelters. While working closely with our Medical Director, Cady has developed her technical skills and knowledge of animal husbandry to a standard of excellence. Her compassionate nature with our patients and confident demeanor with our clients creates an overall outstanding experience. We’re so lucky to have someone as amazing and dedicated as Cady at our practice!
Christina is a technician on our rehabilitation team and so we get to see our pets frequently. Christina forms such deep bonds with her patients that she often is in tears when they recover and don't need to come in anymore! One example, of many, of how invested she gets is a dog named Izzy. Izzy had cruciate surgery and was trying to rehab in time for a national field trial championship. She cared so much about this goal for Izzy and her owner. She went out and bought materials and on her own time made a "Good Luck" sign for Izzy, which the owner just loved. And when Izzy earned the big blue ribbon, and the owner called to let her know, and she saw the picture of Izzy with the ribbon, she was again moved to tears! Christina is in the rainbow mask in the photo.
Kristina works in rehabilitation at our hospital and therefore is able to see her patients on a regular basis and makes a point to really get to know them. She devotes so much time and care to each patient. She understands how to make each individual patient feel comfortable and loved. I think she should be recognized for that alone but she also routinely goes above and beyond. One perfect example was this summer when she heard that one of our long-term patients was going to be euthanized, she came in on her day off to be with that patient at the end. It meant so much the owners to see how much Kristina cared about Daisy. Kristina did it for Daisy though; she always wants her patients to feel comfortable and loved.
Cheyenne has worked hard to complete her Vet Tech program which she earned her diploma Sept 2021. During the time she was getting her skills done she was teaching new staff, hiring new staff, coordinating all of the vet assistants, making sure all of the patients were well cared for, all while being a great mom and wife. She has exceptional work ethic and is an integral part of our team. She deserves to be recognized for all her hard work!
Jen goes absolutely above and beyond for all of her patients. Even for her coworker's pets when they need advice after-hours. She is absolutely wonderful and deserves all of the appreciation!
Cat was and will always be an incredible mentor. Her kindness and strength through the most challenging days is admirable. She was one of the very first Leads in our clinic and did it all by going the extra mile, her flexibility and dedication to a position she loved most. I’ll never forget how she smiled through it all and help keep high morale in our team. She was one of my favorite techs and is missed!
Stephanie has always been a huge part of our team. With her license now in her pocket (congrats girl! wooo!!!) she is able to soar even higher and brighter. We are so lucky to call her our supervisor. Thank you for all that you do.
Jerri is a veterinary specialty technician at WVERC who is always willing to help pets. She has applied her care towards Internal Medicine as well as Physical Therapy but displays it in all of the other departments as well. Jerri uses her knowledge to better patients and her teammates in the best way possible. Coming to work when she is on shift makes the days better.
Michael Natale isn't just your average veterinary nurse. Mike has a wide variety of experience within the field. Currently, Mike is a teacher of veterinary medicine at Nassau BOCES - Barry Tech. He teaches 11th and 12th grade high school students about all aspects of veterinary medicine. For example, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, parasitology and pathology, and much more. Along with teaching, Mike is also a talent manager at Veterinary Emergency Group. His hope is to keep the great talent we have in the industry make a greater impact for the future professionals in bettering medicine. Preventing / stopping burn out, compassion fatigue, and improving the overall well-being of one another or just a few of his goals along with spreading his knowledge to the younger generation of professionals.
Brittany is our registered vet tech. She truly is amazing. She is always willing to help out a team member or greet a pet with a kiss on the nose. She always goes above and beyond with the care she has for her patients.
Kaytie is the lead tech here, but she goes above and beyond to teach our new technicians and clients the best ways to help care for their pets! She's always willing to help educate pet owners and do anything she can to help them out.
Brooke is such a hard working, loyal, down to earth person. We can always count on her, she's there for us through thick and thin even while going through college to become a Veterinarian. Even though she's a few years younger than me, I strive to be an amazing technician like her.
Julie is an amazing technician. She is kind, trustworthy, and a wonderful coworker and friend! She always has the pet's best interests at heart. Julie also manages our inventory in the hospital and I appreciate her organization with that and making things easy to find in the hospital, whether it's the simplest thing of re-doing our pharmacy area or other little odds and ends around the hospital, it's always extremely appreciated! We <3 Julie!
Stephanie is great with all of our patients! She always has their best interest at heart and does an excellent job education our clients on their pets and wellbeing! She will always go the extra mile with a smile!
Although Jazmine is relatively new to Chanticleer, she has already proven to be part of our family. She fit right in with our existing staff and her previous experience at other clinics provided her with the necessary skills to excel in our practice. Jazmine immediately began assisting with procedures, scribing for our doctors during exams, and discharging surgery patients. We’re excited for what the future holds and are so thankful that she joined our team!
Daniel is outstanding. He is always calm under pressure and he really is a bright light for us here. When Daniel is working you can depend on him to see to it that everything gets done and he does it with a smile. He is a great communicator and always able to find solutions to any problems. He is a father of 2 young sons and a wonderful husband as well. We always depend on him and find it a real joy to work with him.
You are a queen! Not only do you single-handedly keep our rehab department rocking, but you are also one of the best mentors I have ever had. I owe the good start and foundation in my career to you, as I know do many others. I know our paths don't cross often daily, but when they do I really love the convos!
Melanie is not only our lead technician but she is also my assistant manager. She goes above and beyond every day and her hard work is what navigates my staff in the right direction. She is improving her management skills through training and she is leading and setting a great example. She is an outstanding member of my team and we are luck to have her!
Annie is such a team player. She has been with our practice since before I started working here, and I can't think of anyone that deserves this recognition more than Annie. She cares immensely about the patients, and remembers each client by first name. She is always eager to help her teammates, and even fills in at the front desk when needed. Annie is a superstar.
Kim is an amazing tech who always goes above and beyond her job description. No matter what she's doing, she always efficient and cares very much for all the animals in our practice and outside of our practice as well. She is always willing to help anyone in need, including helping our front end staff when it gets busy with phones and clients. She's truly one-of-kind tech and a very valuable member of our team!!
Kaitlyn has a natural ability to connect with all clients. Her calm demeanor, and wealth of knowledge make her a favorite of all her clients. She has great listening skills and can hear 'beyond' what the client is talking about and or requesting. Kaitlyn has proven herself to be an undeniable asset to the veterinary industry. Thank you Kaitlyn for all the hard work, strong work ethic, and patient care! Salish is lucky to have you!
Lauren is newer to our field and has taken on the challenge of being a tech with a smile (even under the mask!) She is always ready to jump in help whenever she can. She balances being an assistant all while going to school full-time. We are so lucky to have her be apart of our team.
We have a medically complicated patient with heart disease that was causing him to collapse at the groomer. We do not groom at our hospital. However when Bianca caught wind of his situation, she volunteered to bring in her own grooming supplies and schedule a visit to have a Fear Free medical grooming. He had no issues with collapse and was so happy and spry after his hair cut! It had been many months since his last grooming as his mom and care giver were nervous to have him groomed again. He looked like a new man and everyone was thrilled thanks to Bianca’s kindness, effort, and going above and beyond for our patient!
Sara is our office manager. She hands down one of the most selfless people I have ever had the pleasure of working for. Sara time after time puts her team before herself. She is willing to come in at any given time to help, including doing ultrasound scans that she is certified for. She always has a shoulder to cry eye and a helping hand. When she is not juggling at the clinic, she is taking care of her Great Dane, Doberman, twin 5 year old boys, a 7 year old daughter and a husband! With all she is busy with at the clinic and home; I don't know how she has time to sleep! Words cannot express how grateful we all are to have her here at Serenity Animal Hospital.
She has been in the Veterinary field for 12 years and continues to strive for excellent care and current medications / protocols.
I have really enjoyed watching you grow as a tech assistant into a full-grown vet tech! I love laughing with you and sending you way too many Instagram reels. I REALLY love watching you handle spicy kitties. You are so caring and compassionate, even though they are trying to maim you. Thank you for being awesome!
Working as a Vet tech at Pet Care Center is very rewarding. I love the patients and clients. I also love working with different doctors. Pet Care has helped me to grow as a person and as a member of the Pet Care Center team.
I am nominating Valerie Weakley AND Cristina Grazziano, because I can't choose just one of our 2 AMAZING Vet Techs! We are a small, tight-knit veterinary team and both of these ladies deserve the utmost recognition for National Veterinary Technician's Week! It has been a particularly busy year for us (and Veterinary Clinics across the U.S.), but Valerie and Cristina always rise to the occasion. I honestly don't know how we make it through the day at times, but we always get the job done and THEY are the helping hands that hold our clinic together. Despite working long hours, hectic schedules, phones ringing constantly, compassion fatigue and the fact that some patients are less than gracious when Valerie & Cris only have their best interests in mind- These ladies never turn their backs on a patient in need! They come here every day, rain or shine, ready and willing to help in any way possible. Even when times are tough and they are going through personal matters. This has been a pretty tough year outside of the clinic too- both of Cristina's beloved dogs passed away recently. Valerie has suffered personal losses as well. I especially want to thank these ladies for picking up the slack, as I have needed extra time off, due to health ailments that my fiancé is dealing with too. All in all, I am grateful for these ladies every day and I think the world of them!
Henry has the biggest heart! He also has a talent for snapping some of the most beautiful photos of our team and patients. He shares them with us daily and it really is a great reminder of the reason we all got into this profession. Thank you for making us smile.
Becky our CVT and tech supervisor is such an inspiration everyday. Daily she balances the tech team / doctor ratio. Schedules to the needs of surgeries, exams and those emergencies that pop up daily. Becky is an amazing teacher and mentor with the tech team. She is the glue that holds the doctors together, multitasking is her middle name. Always a happy go lucky person, you can hear her laughter floating throughout the hospital. It's definitely contagious! We really count on her to lift our spirits during this extremely busy, stressful time. She is always singing. She sings to the patients , loves to take photos (she makes this cute noise to get the money shot) and posts on our social media page. She is our social butterfly in every sense of the word! We are extremely fortunate to have her in our Boone Family ❤️
To my fellow momma tech, you are the very best! I love sharing stories of our babies, they are the funniest little monsters. I love your attention to detail and the passion that you have to keep this place on its toes. I look forward to seeing you every day!
Jenn is the light of our hospital. She has never-ending energy (seriously...she would give the Energizer Bunny a run for his money!), always goes above and beyond, and is always finding a way to make others smile. Jenn is a former police officer who decided to join our team this year and has hit the ground running. With no prior veterinary experience, she has quickly learned multiple positions within our hospital due to her amazing drive and willingness to learn. She is now currently studying to become a licensed veterinary technician and we have no doubt that she will be phenomenal, can't wait to see all she does in the future! We appreciate Jenn for always going the extra mile and spreading laughs and cheer on days when we need it most.
Jenny is such a wonderful technician. She’s always very upbeat and outgoing, she’s a great teacher as well! She always has such a cheerful attitude with all of our clients! She makes a difference in our hospital with her cheerfulness and it’s always welcome during these crazy times with how crazy our hospital has been.
You have quickly become a leader and teacher that I am so proud of! You are one of the hardest working people I know. Thank goodness you are here, I would be mostly lost without you. I am probably mostly impressed that when you first started you were very nervous about fractious cats like I am, and now you are handling them like a pro!
Des is the most value, hardworking and down to earth Vet Tech I have had the pleasure of working with. She is an incredible and knowledgeable surgery technician who will go the extra mile to make sure her patients are comfortable, safe and well taken care of! She deserves all the recognition and success the future has to offer. She lights up a room, just by being present and has made such a life changing impact by being an incredible mentor.
I would very much like to acknowledge an RVT/Office Manager Jennifer Campbell that has gone above and beyond inspiring her staff to be the best at what they do. This mother of 10 children has repeatedly over many years shown a driven passion for excellence in the field compassion for our clients needs and struggles with their pets and shown each one of us just how much it means to put animals and their needs first. She never says no when I've had a need of services, she always comes in and stays until the job is done. I can't even count how many clients have cried with joy and relief after she's able to take their animals from a dire need into a successful recovery. She's just one of those people that you just shake your head and say how can you do it? She's an inspiration to our entire staff and just let us know that even with a home life you can come to work and excel at customer service quality client care and just have what it takes to be a compassionate animal lover and example to your team.
Maggie has been a technician for decades. Beyond her compassion for all animals she is an amazing teacher and mentor. She is patient with new technicians just starting their careers and she pays attention to details most people wouldn’t think of taking into account. She has a sense of humor but knows when to be serious and professional. She goes above and beyond for the hospital even in her spare time, which she does not have much of. She also knows how to lend a listening ear and how to gently give constructive criticism. Every practice needs someone like Maggie to teach and guide.
Korin has been an absolute life saver for me. We both hold the same job at different locations. (3 locations total) When I took the team leader job I was scared of many things. She was beyond wonderful and helpful for this journey of mine. Besides that, she is an AWESOME technician. She has such compassion and love for this job and the pets. She is definitely one of a kind!! She keeps a smile on her face at all times!
Heather came to our practice about a year ago and has been a wonderful addition to our team. Her area of expertise is anesthesia, which she excels at. She makes sure each patient is well cared for and that their day with us goes as smoothly as possible. Heather also enjoys teaching our new team members the ins and outs of anesthesia. She is a calm, informative and always has words of encouragement for her trainees.
Charmaine has been with us for 31 years!! Her dedication and skills are exemplary! Time clocks do not exist for her because she'll return hours after we close to check on an animal and to care for their needs. She not only assists our doctors with their needs, but she also manages our kennel staff as well with scheduling and training. Charmaine is absolutely essential to our practice and we love her!
Jayme came to us with no experience but has proven her love and understanding of this business over and over. Not only has she quickly become one of our most talented technicians, she has also mastered the CSR position. She is able to step in when we need help there with more than just ease, she makes it look simple. Jayme has also graduated to completely managing our inventory. She has improved our COGS by at least 10 percent. She has also personally been responsible for taking on and rehoming several dogs that have been relinquished to us when euthanasia was the other option. Jayme is the true kind of person that makes all of us proud to do what we do.
Andreas was a medic in the military for 5 years, later pursued a career in paramedics medicine and then became a pet advocate at Your Pets Vets. He fell in love with the position and the fulfillment he gets when helping animals. The biggest challenge he sees is that medicine is always changing, so it's super important to be up-to-date with the latest teachings. He looks forward to coming into the clinic every day; there's never a dull day at Your Pets Vets with the puppies. What he loves most about his job is that he can take a sick puppy and get them back home happy and healthy.
Sarah always goes above and beyond for our clients, their pets, and our staff. Everyone loves her. She's been such an asset to our pet hospital and we don't know what we would do without her. We believe she is more than deserving of this nomination!
I am so happy that you chose to start your career with us! I am in awe of your willingness to tackle any new situation, even though it can be really scary at first. I am especially proud of your blood sample taking and catheter placing; you are a pro! I look forward to seeing you grow and develop as an amazing technologist!
Kelli is incredibly hardworking and compassionate towards all of her patients. She goes above and beyond in all aspects of veterinary medicine, from helping to keep the hospital clean, to staying late to help continue triaging and treating patients. She is an excellent all around employee!
I am really lucky to work with you! You are an amazing tech! I am super jealous of your ability to talk to every client about everything. I know so many pets are lucky to have had you advocate for their nutritional needs. I love that you are always open to learning everything that I have to pass along. I look forward to a long career with you!
Tierra is one of my favorite LVTs, in general. Her dedication to her work and her beliefs as a technician are always noticed and appreciated. She stands up for what it right and for those who do not have a voice. I am very proud to have her as part of my team. She has also taken on the responsibility of being our hospital's OSHA Captain and does an outstanding job of making sure everything is up-to-date. Her compassion for the field is something to be noticed.
Kallie has been serving the pets of our community for over 10 years. She shows the utmost love and compassion for every creature she comes across, as well as their owners. She has five dogs, five cats, two horses, and a few chickens. She is a hard worker, and has a heart of gold. Any time Kallie is near is guaranteed to be a good one, as she always makes it her duty to lift the spirits of those around her. We extend our gratitude to her for her dedication and service over the years.
Brandi is kind and compassionate. She always has a smile on her face and makes you feel welcome. She truly cares about the pets.
Brittany has been with us for 8+ years. She started as a receptionist/assistant while going to school to get her Certification. After that, she became one of our very valued CVTs. Brittany is the kind of technician that you can always depend on. After years of being here, she values her personal relationships with the clients that come to see us. For example, Brittany is a huge Dachsund fan. She herself has 2 and loves on each one that comes into the clinic, whether it's her appointment or not. We have one client who owns a Dachsund that ALWAYS asks to have Brittany as her technician simply because of her kindness and skill. Anytime this pup comes in she immediately gets excited to see Brittany walk her way. Winning the heart of a dog like that says a lot more about your passion and heart than anything else. I truly think she is more than deserving of this recognition!!
Bernie keeps it all together behind the scenes, orders all of the medications and medical supplies. She's always very thorough and efficient and helps the new hospital manager everyday. She is great with clients and of course, the pets. She catches things before they can become a problem and works on a solution. Always willing to help and step up and learn!
I am truly honoured to know this vet tech. She is the most empathetic person I have ever met. She loves and adores senior dogs. She isn't afraid of chihuahuas or weiner dogs, she thinks they all just need a little love as they are gnawing on her fingers. I am proud to call her my friend.
